Adcole has been a leading supplier of Sun Sensors for Space Applications for over 40 years. Our Sun Sensors are used on all types of spacecraft including LEO, MEO, and GEO satellites, and interplanetary spacecraft. Sun Sensors are primarily used as part of the attitude control system, but are also used for instrument pointing, solar array pointing, and safe mode or sun acquisition systems.
